BLACKHAWK INDUSTRIES Axiom R/F Stock Ruger 10/22 Blk

This stock is a perfect fit for my AMT Lightning .22 rifle.

I was amazed that it got to me so fast. Very pleased with that. The stock was just great. I was able to make the swap quick and easy. I love it this far.

All in all a decent stock. 10/22 fit perfect and was easy to install. The only issue I have with it is the telescoping buttstock. It is a bit rattly and sticks when fully collapsed.

I'll start with the positive. If your 10/22 is your kids 1st rifle then this might be a must have, despite it's many flaws. The adjustable stock and pistol grip make it *much* easier for smaller shooters to handle the rifle. It also shaves a little weight from the factory stock. My kids love it.I, however, hate it. The adjustable stock is incredibly hard to adjust. It binds terribly and moving it just one stop is nearly impossible. It's really REALLY cheaply made. The plastic is so-so and it doesn't even have a brass insert where the bolt to assemble the rifle goes. Finally, if you have an optic on your rifle, be aware that the pistol grip on this thing makes the whole assembly to big to fit in the branded Ruger 10/22 case (not really the fault of this stock to be fair). I had to play "musical cases" with what I own to accommodate this thing and still have everything in a case without buying a new one.

I'm still undecided if I like this stock or not. It's almost exactly what I was looking for but they dropped the ball.It would be excellent with a few minor changes.Pro's.It's very light, provides some mounting options for bipod, light, grip. Adjustable stock/length of pull. Installed easy, fit well.Cons-The adjustable stock.It's an odd size (maybe commercial?) milspec won't fit. So options for adding a brace or stock is limited. Adjustment is very stiff.A PLASTIC buffer tube, it's molded as part of the stock so you can replace either.The grip is also part of the mold, you can't replace that either.No metal insert for the take down screw or mlok slots towards the front.Lots of twist & flex in the forearm.Like I said, it would of been excellent with a replaceable buffer tube, grip and a few little pieces of metal.
