This black gold is the absolute best stuff on earth. I put it on steak, burgers, add to soup and a million other dishes just straight outta the bottle. Absolutely incredible!

At last-I have found the missing element!
I didn't realize how important black vinegar can be in some Chinese recipes--especially dipping sauces, dumplings, and noodle recipes. I tried substituting rice wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar, but my Chinese(ish) dishes never came out smelling or tasting the same as the ones I got in the Chinese restaurant. Some vinegars are sharp and acidic, but this one is deep and mellow. It's not like anything else, and it's one of those things where a tiny bit of a special ingredient makes all the difference.
