Excellent surgical pet suit
This pet suit works perfectly, it is really well made, the material is nice and soft and stretchy but it stays in position. It has poppers at the back so it is easy to put on and take off. There is a popper underneath so you can roll the material rather than having to take the suit off for toilet times. This suit is far better than having to use the ‘collar of shame’. I would highly recommend this suit, the sizing is good and the style is well thought out and makes it efficient at protecting stitches or wounds from being licked. Excellent product.

Labrador: fit
My 32kg labrador had abdominal surgery recently. I purchased M+ size. Fits him perfectly. Great quality and has kept him well away from his surgical site. He hasn’t tried to pull this off once and is very comfortable wearing this.The enclosed design is perfect for post surgical recovery. Easy to get on and off with stretchy fabric and the poppers at the back make it easy to remove for toileting and refastening.Would buy again!

Great design
My dog is 35cm from neck to base of tail so I bought 2XS and it's like a second skin, perfect fit. The material is soft, stretchy jersey and washes well. It has a lighter blue gusset so any exudate is easily seen, or you can use sanitary pads. Poppers at the back make it easy for her to toilet, there is a tab on the inside which holds it in place when rolled. The leaflet has lots of useful information and worth taking the time to read. Our vet said she might lick the material and make the wound wet, we haven't noticed this but keep checking. I really can't find anything negative to say about this product, great design.

Wonderful to cover a wound... not great for peeing though......
Ok - lovely make and fit for a stocky dog as this stretches but still holds firm. It is a good quality jersey t-shirt fabric which washes lovely. Its very nicely sewn and good quality stitching so doesnt snag or split with use. For surgery that you have cover over, it works fine. Also surgical areas that are slightly open and weeping this fabric doesnt stick to the wound so better than anything in that regard. However....... while it fastens great and doesnt ride up (which is also a really good bonus for long term use), that does mean peeing is a real issue if the dog doesnt give much warning. With a dog that gives warning and you can pop it open easy then great. However with a dog thats had intensive surgery (such as ours who had spinal surgery) where you have a lot going on and you need support, using support over the top of this and then struggling to pop open buttons and leave room for urination is a bit tricky. For that reason and that there could have been a hole here for the male dog anatomy, i've taken a star off, but nonetheless a good quality product for other injury sites you dont want the dog to try and scratch or nibble at, and far better than a plastic cone!

Worked!
Got it for the post neuter recovery and it really worked to stop him licking the surgical site. Was not looking forward to the stress and guilt of the “cone of shame” but with this vest we didn’t need the cone once. Did get a second vest (as advised by manufacturer) as post neuter is 10 - 14 days recovery and could swap vests round while one was being washed. Got the hang of getting it on and off quite quickly. Found it easier to remove the vest entirely rather than roll it up when he needed to toilet. He only misdirected once , but it was raining so didn’t want him sat around in a wet vest anyway. Also after a few days the stretch that makes it so comfortable to wear meant that it was slightly baggier (think a few days of wearing jeans) and I was worried this might give him more to access his scar - so a swap over with a fresh washed vest and it fitted snugly again. A great product that took a lot of the stress out of post neuter recovery, but definitely recommend getting two if needed for more than a few days.

Awful product , awful company to deal with
Paid for the return postage to return this item and the seller still refused to issue a refund stating that the packaging was torn. Well obviously I had to open it to try this garbage on my dog and it was way too small because the sizing on the listing is inaccurate. Avoid this scam company at all costs. They don’t accept refunds never encountered this problem ever before. Do not buy as you will lose your money! Also the quality of the product is terrible. Cheap china product.

Great suit.
Bought this for our Cocker Spaniel for his recovery and after reading the size chart we ordered and it fits perfectly. The suit is good quality and I would recommend for sure.

Perfect product
My dog had an operation on his shoulder and they put him one of these on to help to keep the dressing on. It fits so beautifully and did the job so well I bought another from Amazon so he would have on your to wear whilst the other is being washed. It looks great on my Retriever will probably use it as a coat even when his sound heals as he is very comfortable in it. Also it washes and dried very well
