Great roof bag.
Very easy to use bag. The hard runners underneath the bag make it very easy to fit to roof bars if you follow the instructions. Takes about ten minutes to install and five to remove. Sturdy bag with plenty of room for soft items. We drove four hundred miles with it over Christmas with no issues. No signs of water leakage and it didn’t move on the roof bars. Would recommend. Also folks away to nothing when not in use.

Great roof box without the storage issues
I installed this onto my car a few days before I filled it and if course it rained on it.. massive puddle on top but completely dry inside.. we were going away for a week with three dogs so it was perfect to carry all their beds, food and toys with space enough for all our towels too. On arrival after a few hours of driving in the rain everything inside was still dry 👍I found it a little fiddly to attach it to the roof bars as the threads are so fine and there wasn't alot of room between it and the roof of the car .. but they tightened up well and is very secure..I would recommend this to anyone who needs a roof box but, like me , can't store a solid plastic oneAs you'll see from the photos it can be stored easily by the side of a chair

Useful for occasional use
The bag folds away nicely to avoid the storage issues of a roof box. The bag provides enough useable space at this size for 2-3 medium bags and a couple of sleeping bags.I have only used once but so far my only negatives are the clamps which are a little bit tricky to get on and the bag is only water resistant (not fully waterproof) . It did leak a bit on a a long journey with some rain so would recommend packing only items that are waterproof or in waterproof bags.

Hopeful at first, but broke before first use
I was initially really impressed with this on arrival. Folded, it is roughly the size of a folded up camping chair, which expands to a roof bag 1m long, 0.8m wide and roughly 0.4m high. There are two metal rails running on the underside of the roof bag, which are used to slot the heads of the securing bolts in, and a third metal strip running through the middle of the bag to give it some central support. The instructions suggested a maximum distance between the roof bars of 0.7m, however I struggled to fit to Thule Aerobars set at 0.69m apart. As other reviews mention, the threads sit beneath the roof bars, a bracket needs to be slotted on, along with a small washer and then the nut. Fitting it quite fiddly, trying to balance all the bits in place before finding the thread to screw the nut on - but it wasn't impossible. The nuts don't have any sort of tension / torque notification, so it's difficult to know when they've been screwed in tight enough.Unfortunately, one of the heads of the securing bolt sheared off on installation for me. This meant that one of the four brackets couldn't be used to secure the bag to the car - and meant I wasn't comfortable chancing it.I would repurchase for the bag, albeit I wasn't able to test how stable or waterproof the bag was, but I'm reluctant to in case the quality of other securing bolts is as poor.

Tough and does what it's supposed to do
Pretty much as described and pleasantly surprised at the material and build quality. Material is tarpaulin like on the inside and seam stiches are fine point and tight. Outside layer is some sort of tough polymer.Fixings feel strong and tip is that the U clamp assemblies can be left together and then fitted as one part then I found it pretty straightforward and quick. I read the feedback from others maybe they are taking them apart each time which is unnecessary with a bit of cunning.I'm pleased with this buy, weighing it up against the obvious competition its good value and does what it says on the tin. As to waterproofing, I cant see any obvious drain holes, whereas others seem to. This is, of course easy to fix but so far no problem !HTH!

Very sturdy well made roof bag
Roof bag is very sturdy. My only gripe is that the fasteners are really tricky to align with each other. I spent almost 15 minutes getting the fasteners aligned and tightened when using it.Other than that though bag is strong, zip is strong and very water proof.

Great roofbag
Used it for the first time over Easter break to see how easy it was to get on/off. Husband was very surprised how much you can get in. Tested on the way home in the rain and everything was still dry was a worry after reading other reviews. Such good value and so much easier to store when not being used opposed to hard shell roofbox we previously had.

Great roofbag.
Great piece of kit that is very well made. Survived a pretty horrendous down pore through most of France with everything inside staying dry! Very easy to install and has the added bonus of folding away after. Would recommend.
