Very high-purity 97-99% KOH. Make sure when you use online "soap calculators" that you use one that can compute recipe for pure KOH instead of the more usual 90% product. And, as always, read up very thoroughly on how to handle lye and also about the soap-making process in general -- any time you use lye you must remember how dangerous it can be.

Came on time.I have used this before to make my ownLiquid Castile soap. Just the olive oil and lye.Turned out excellent. I did not add glycerin.I will be trying another type of Liquid Castile soap. But won’t be using only olive oil.Real original bar or Liquid Castile soap ONLY USES olive oil and lye. It’s very gentle.You only get better at it the more you make it.
