I bought this door lock because I travel a lot and always worry about safety in hotels. I honestly love it! It’s super easy to use, installs in seconds, and feels very sturdy. Once it’s in place, the door can’t be opened from the outside, even with a key. It gives me so much peace of mind, especially when I travel alone. It’s compact and fits perfectly in my bag. I definitely recommend it if you want extra security at home or while staying somewhere else.

This item is useful for a wide gap door but, if the hotels' doors have narrow gaps then it might not work. I couldn't test it on my own doors at home but, tried at the office doors and it works. It's a useful item to have when traveling overseas where doors are built differently than in the US.

Well-made item. Very sturdy. Easy to adjust. The only drawback is if the space between the door and the door jam is really tight, it may be hard to insert the bulldog and close the door. Another thing to note, this locking device relies on the rigidity of the door, jam, and specifically in the area that is the thinness part of the door jam. So if someone really wanted to get in, I think you could kick the door and break away the door jam in that area where this lock sits.

If it is used, the lock tongue of the door lock will not be able to return to the keyhole normally. In other words, the door cannot lock itself, it can only be relied on to resist opening the door from the outside. It doesn't serve as double insurance at all. Both doors like this.

The size is perfect. It doesn't weigh but it has a lot of strength when it is secured.It works incredibly well.The material is made of good material and is resistant.

It’s heavy and feels durable but because of the shape, I wasn’t able to hold it in place long enough for the hotel door to shut. If I remove my hand, the item moves out if place and drops on the floor so I guess you have to see if it’s compatible with the place you’re staying.
