In need of a facelift? It’s here!
First and foremost. *I* didn’t make my kitchen look absolutely horrible, it was like this when I moved in. I’ve always hated looking at it and simply couldn’t take it anymore. I scoured Amazon for something I thought I’d actually enjoy looking at everyday. After looking at many options, I settled on this.I took them seriously when it said not to use this product on textured walls, which I have, so I did use compound and skim the walls smooth and paint first, which didn’t take a lot of time, actually. I then took a look at what kind of cuts I’d have to make and decided where to start in order to make things flow and made cuts to accommodate the outlets, switches, and above stove area. I started on the right and worked my way left. I did a fast wipe down of the wall with isopropyl alcohol and let it air dry for a couple of minutes and then warmed up both the wall and the back of the tile with a hairdryer on medium speed and heat. I did it just long enough to feel the tile relax and did the adhesive to warm up and get tacky. I carefully placed the tiles repeating the process over and over until I reached the corner. The tiles were easy to peel and so far the overall performance of them is great. I still have the other wall and the other side of the counter to complete, but it’s already made my kitchen a much more pleasant place to be. The colors really brighten things up and appear to really stick to the wall well. The ease of use was awesome. The quality is great and they really pop. I may add a final photo when I finally get the time to finish but I really love it and would recommend it to anyone wanting to give their space a good looking and colorful facelift. Cheers to getting rid of other people’s bad ideas with something that really looks fabulous. The photos don’t do it justice, but I’m waiting on the new lights.

Easier, faster and cheaper than ceramic tile.
Much quicker and cheaper than ceramic tile, but does take some precision alignment and careful planning to attach. Starting point can be at left or right depending on job. Found that on a painted wall, if I tried to reposition, it ripped paint off, and then tile is junked. I used the backing paper to prevent that by taping a piece to wall (shiny side up), while starting to align tile, which allows it to be pulled back off, without damage. It's best to tape several whole tiles up on area to ensure squareness and straightness over long attachment area. The top row of tiles will need to be cut narrower to fill space, and this dimension can be measured while bottom row is taped to wall. I used a narrow paint roller (with roller attached), to gradually press out tile to the wall firmly. Scraps of the backing paper also worked great to make patterns for electical boxes and angled cuts, making such cuts much more precise than just measuring. I found that removing the clear film before cutting made it easier. If slight errors occur, paint or caulk can be used to blend in edges nicely. Have only had installed a couple weeks, but so far they look great and happy wife/happy life!

Not exactly 12"x12" - but beautiful and effective!
I live in an apartment, so when I finally decided that I wanted to do a backsplash in my kitchen, peel and stick tiles were the only thing I was going to choose. These have been in my wish list for a super long time and I am genuinely thrilled with this purchase. The only reason I didn't leave five stars is because the tiles are not exactly 12 in by 12 in, which threw off my measurements, but ended up being something I was able to work around because of how easy these are to cut. That also gave me an opportunity to see how their customer service works, which was amazing: I reached out to the company and let them know that I was short a few tiles because of the measurements being incorrect (one of the two boxes I ordered was also missing a single tile, so only had nine) and they sent me an additional box of 10 tiles promptly and free of charge. Very happy with the customer service! The peel and stick tiles you find on Amazon are typically a huge gamble for whether they're going to work properly, stick properly, last a long time, etc. But these tiles are genuinely really great quality. And I'm super impressed! The adhesive is really effective, even on my walls which are not perfectly flat - they have that bit of texture that's common in apartments in the US, which you can see in the closer photo I have with the outlet in it. If I run my hand along the tile when it's stuck to the wall, I can feel that the adhesive isn't stuck to the wall in every single spot on the back, but that doesn't make a difference in how well it sticks to the wall all around, especially on the edges and corners! I am really astonished how well these tiles stick on the edges and corners, which is why I am so happy with these even with the issues I faced with measurements and a tile missing from one of the boxes. The color is really stunning and matches. What's in the listing. It also has a really nice gloss that looks like real tile. I love how simple these are to fit together with the guides for where to overlap the tiles. It was super easy to put these up in a relatively short amount of time - the entire backsplash you see in my photos was something I was able to do in maybe about 4 hours, and that included redoing some of my measurements, cutting tiles to fit, unsticking and re-sticking some of them in places where I didn't get the angle quite right, and taking a ton of photos (lol). This is a pretty speedy project compared to the other things I've done!Overall, these are an amazing bang for your buck given the massive impact they make, the ease of installation, and their great functionality to protect the kitchen walls from things like oils. They're really easy to clean, they look beautiful, they stick really well (including on corners and edges), and customer service is great. For the functionality paired with all of that, these are a solid 9.5/10 - just make sure you order more than you need, then measure them when you get them, and THEN do your full measurements. :)

LOVE IT!
GREAT VALUE AND QUALITY! Lots of work but totally worth it! I love the design which is not the more common "brick pattern"...I used a silver metal molding trimming at the edges...I can't say enough about the results. I am so pleased with the look and upgrade to my kitchen! DEFINETELY RECOMMEND IT!
