We are trying something new this year- it’s time to try our hand at some baby chicks. Ultimately, we hope to have eggs but for now it’s a fun project for the kids. I wanted to make sure they are as safe as possible from outside predators above and below.And my research led me to this fencing. It’s better than the old silver colored wire mesh fencing. This is a pvc coated metal wire mesh. It’s much stronger and safer than the alternative and it’s an investment in my animals. It can be buried below ground level or hammered above. It ca be bent or cut just like the alternative. It’s 2 inch by 3 inch 16-gauge roll wire in a 48-inch high 50-foot roll. Great stuff!

I put this up as soon as it came. I had ordered the shorter version before and it wasn't quite tall enough for around my chicken coop. I installed this roll of fencing in less than 20 minutes.

As spring approaches, we are preparing for gardening. We are looking for a sturdy fence , and this product is the best i recommended, because its easy to cut and install and will keep pets away from our fruits and vegetables.

We used this fence against our brand new cedar fence to add some creeping/vine flowers in the next planting season. I chose black for a more modern look against the cedar and am very impressed with the sturdiness for the price. We used fence staples to hold the fence in place and have not had any issues with it so far.
