Works well, very study, great for off road vehicles with a winch in states that require a front license plate.

Was easy to install and works as intended. My only small gripe with it was that I had to remove my winch hook in order to feed it through the hole but other than that it's a good sturdy license plate holder for those of us who have steel bumpers with winches and no place to put a license plate

Installation will vary depending on your winch line, hook, and fairlead. I was able to reuse my fairlead hardware, but the kit does come with some bolts of its own. The item is in two pieces which allows some flexibility when installing it, including not using the 'license plate backing piece' if you don't want/need it. The kit does come with enough hardware to install the license plate at all four points (if your plates have four holes). Also, the gauge of the material is thicker than expected and feels good and stiff that highway speeds won't have the plate wiggling all around.

I got this and another plate mount for my fairlead and I went with the other style. While this is super sturdy, I puts the plate way above the fairlead and even above the winch a bit where I think it would block too much air to my radiator. I think if you have a bigger grill for airflow to your radiator, this would work well, but my airflow space on the XJ is already limited. Overall the quality of the product is great. The hardware and plates themselves are super beefy and appear like they would last a long time.

This is an excellent value as it's easy to install and then add a license plate without having to drill any extra holes in your fancy new bumper. It also provides a little bit of protection for the winch.

This front license plate holder is heavy duty, and bolts in between a bumper and a winch. All hardware is included.

I haven't had a chance to install this yet, but it will be an easy job, and this is a quality part.
