Wow, I mean wow. I was looking at my account and I bought this meter in 2021! It’s still works and it stays in my truck. Extreme heat, extreme cold, Works well for everything. Coming from someone who uses it frequently for automotive use. Except one thing that has got me looking for another multimeter, it’s to measure microferits, not spelled right, but to measure the capacitors on the hvac system. Other than that it’s perfect. I just need to check my ac system otherwise I wouldn’t be looking for another one. I don’t remember ever changing the batteries. maybe I’m not sure. Light works, screen works, leads work, it’s still going strong! I honestly forgot I even bought it here on Amazon. I mean it’s been 4 years!

Wanted to have an inexpensive multi-meter to keep in the tool kit for my truck and this little meter by Kaiweets did not disappoint. I had previously purchased another meter (in green from another popular seller of multi-meters) and while that meter is very nice as well, it was fully automatic only. This meter, on the other hand, allows you to select the exact mode you want - which is something I really appreciate and wanted for automotive electrical systems. Not only does it respond much faster (since it doesn't have to stop and try to figure out "what mode are we in"), but you can manually select the range you want.I like that it has a back lit screen that is very easy to read as well as an auto off function (which, incidentally, can be overridden when needed). The test leads appear to be nice quality. The case is fine too. The manual is easy to read, albeit a hair large to fit into the case. Nevertheless, it all works.Two AAA batteries are included. I had to laugh when I read some of the 1-star reviews for this meter. Someone put the batteries in wrong and then was upset the meter wouldn't turn on. Guys, believe it or not, the flat part of the AAA battery always goes against the spring in the holder - it's a thing.For the price, this meter is an absolute slam dunk. It feels solid and well made and the design just flows nicely. The door to hold the battery in is released with one screw and is a very clever design. The little flip-out stand feels solid as well and props the meter up nicely. I did notice the LCD screen dims ever so slightly when doing continuity tests, but it's not a deal breaker.From what I can see, this meter will serve its purpose as a small multi-meter to keep handy in the car just fine. I can definitely give it 5 stars and recommend it to anyone looking for an economical meter (either to keep in your car or for beginners wanting to check circuits, etc.).

very nice package, comes in a sturdy box, the included zippered carry case is nice and it's easy to use. the rotating knob feels good and the button does backlight and hold function. it beeps when selecting mode, so i removed the beep function, the speaker is a plastic cylinder extending from the circuit board on two long leeds, i just bent it back and forth to gently remove it. it's a good little multimeter with a nice sized display. I do wish it was smaller as to fit in my pocket easier

Got this tool for small repairs around the house, used it already to check continuity on a switch, works fine, for the price gets the job done.
