Decent wire cable--thin but strong
I have a 50' row of goji vines--strong woody vines, similar in ways to grape vines in terms of trellising needs. I contrived some supports (included picture--not sure how much detail can be seen) and ran 4, 50' spans of the cable. I gave the cable and hardware a high 'durability' rating since i see nothing that would indicate that this wont last. Check back in 5-10 years to confirm. All the hardware looks light-duty but the cable's rated to well over 300 lb, which is plenty. If you're worried about that go with the 1/8 cable and hardware. I bought the 1/16 with black vinyl coating on the wire. Looks OK.

Nice size roll Material , I used on my farm equipment to keep Pins and Clops in place , also used for dog chain runner , worked well for small dog , I have the roll in my shop always a need for cable , also i will be ordering larger size ove this cable for shop

these are only 1/16 wire
On a project there are multiple sun shades across the area, the Discount Parts Direct coated wire cable will help some. The 328FT 304 Stainless Steel Cable 7x7 with about 368lbs breaking strength is able to hold up the shades pretty taut. I double up on some hard to get connection points, just to be sure it won't work itself loose. Couple this with multiple crimping sleeves used on each cable will hopefully hold the shades for quite sometime, and these are coated wired it should last for a long time. --
