The central hole does not fit snugly around the tap
The product leaves a gap between the central hole edge and the tap even at its smallest diameter cut out. This means water will invariably get through. I will try other products.

Great mat
Finally fixed my problem of water accumulating behind the faucet and running down my counter. Looks decent too and is a good spot to store soap and sponges and such. Very useful. Fit my faucet right out of the box.

Works if you have the right faucet and sink
This splash guard works great, it has good construction, all the dimensions are as advertised. I bought it knowing counter top wasn't the ideal dimensions as one side is offset from the other on a 2 sink setup. It does the job.
