Great taste

If you like Jerky, you’ll probably like this. If you like Biltong, you’ll hate it. I feed the 4 bags I ordered to the dogs. The pictures make it look like sliced biltong, but what you get is jerky looking and tasting like jerky. The owners of this company need to stop lying and trying to bring another customer base that has expectations of what biltong tastes like. That’s why you get a 1 star review, for deception.

The quality of this product is excellent. It is better than what I am used to buying in the supermarket. I will definitely buy again. Just wish the price was not so high. However it is still cheaper than at the store.

It’s not bad, but my wife is South African. So I’ve had real biltong. Admittedly I’m spoiled.

The pieces were nice and thick for the most part. But it was also not as tender as most biltong. The flavor was very minimal but good. Definitely needed more seasoning or salt to amplify it.

Delicious, light and filling. So amazing! Tastes authentic and delightful. I hope it returns to Amazon! Loved buying bags each week as a snack!

The meat was too gristly. Ended up throwing it away. Would not recommend.

I love high protein snacks, and biltong has always been a solid option. However, a lot of brands I have tried are either over seasoned, bad textures (too crispy, chewy, or hard chunks of fat), inconsistent quality, and even spoiled.I had given up on biltong for a few years after a bunch of hit and misses. I had a friend clue me in to Hardbody's and this was the quality I was looking for in biltong. Great taste, texture, quality at a fair price.
