Cute but missing a piece
Just what I was looking for to cover my electrical panel but didn’t come with the hanging string so I had to use fishing line instead

Exactly as pictured!
Well, I find it to be more and more rare for a product to actually be advertised exactly the way it looks. This tapestry has pleasantly surprised me! I was hoping for the smaller version, but when I ordered, the long version was all there was left. Luckily, it's gorgeous and I'll find a great spot for it. I'm moving at the end of this month/beginning of next month, so I won't have photos of it up on a wall until after that, but wanted to see it and once I saw it, I wanted to show it off! It definitely looks hand-made, as advertised, and is from a small studio in San Francisco, CA. I love supporting small businesses, and this was a great opportunity to support one. I promise, better photos are soon to come! It's very desert-like with the colors and patterns. Definitely fits a boho vibe, desert vibe, and I can see it on the wall of a home with mid-century pieces, as well. If you like it, but aren't sure if it will be local or from China, and worried it might show up differently than it's pictured... make the purchase. It's worth it.

Nicely Done
The art of wall tapestry is not that well known here in the US. But, in some other countries, it's quite common. And in ways, I'd consider this a Scandinavian minimalist style of bonadsmåleri. Just modern, and not using the more folklore - Bauernmalerei motives, typical with such Swedish tapestry. (And quite popular in Scandinavia right now... and for the last few decades even.)Yet, the one thing I miss, is the more contrastful and distinct coloring that Swedish tapestry commonly has. I'd also be interested in seeing some modern abstracts being used. They would go exceptionally well in combination with a George Nakashima early midcentury modern styling. And, that early midcentury modern is very trend setting, in the artistic interior design world, right now.Granted of course, these are not unique pieces. Not even limited editions. But, it's "nice stuff," that we mortals can afford. I like it.
