Vibrant colors, bright image, a terrific value for the money
It used to be that you'd have to sell your grandmother's heirloom silver to buy a projector like this. The Viewsonic PA700W is a very affordable, very bright projector with a load of features and sharp optics. I'm using this ceiling mounted as a rear projector in an auditorium. It has all of the usual options for mounting rightside up or upside down, keystone and white balance adjustments, lots of inputs, etc. Really, the best thing about this projector is that Viewsonic is known for reliability, the image quality is great, and you won't have to hock grandma's silverware to afford it.

Not compatible with Mac HDMI port
This projector is very good. I had an issue connecting HDMI cable and customer support was really great resolving the issue.

Great picture
This projector has excellent video. It's super clear. The audio isn't very loud but I added an inexpensive sound bar and it's fine.

USB cant be used as a source
If it let you use the USB as a source of videos/photos to display, I would have kept it.

Great for bright indoor conference
We used it for a conference.180inch screen fits well and bright enough show clear presentation under bright inside. No need dim the room

Bases on the Lunems I expected a better quality throw/ projection relative to my distance and other projector.

Unit defective
Got the unit and when powered on it would shut off 10 seconds later saying "Warning Fan Locked" "The projector will switch off automatically. Please contact a service center for repair. (I did not hear a fan running) I unplugged the unit and waited a few minutes and thought, why not? I powered it on again to see if it possibly reset and the same thing happened. But the unit seems bright and pretty lightweight, almost too light to a fault as it felt a little cheap. I have used other units with a lot more weight and harder casing
