Downloadable from the Hildeez website.In my use case, my Mac is in a remote closets I needed a Bluetooth dongle to get reception in my workspace. The Hildeez does the jib perfectly.

I began to have issues with my onboard Bluetooth antenna (Intel) on a Linux distro, constant signal drop and overall poor performance, despite all troubleshooting. I bought this as a replacement, the OS immediately picked it up and I had zero compatibility issues. No more signal drops, great long range signal. Zero complaints.Only note is that the contact for the USB-A is slightly longer than standard ports, so I do have some of the contact exposed. It may have been fixed in future models, but it would be better if the dongle sat flush against the IO shield or case.

Doesn't work very well pairing TWS Bluetooth speakers on my mac.

Worked instantly! I recently installed Ubuntu on my pre-built gaming PC and Bluetooth wasn't compatible with Ubuntu. No software updates or installs helped. This simply plugs into any USB port and the Operating System instantly recognized it.

I used this as a replacement for my motherboard bluetooth adapter in a mid 2012 edition of Macbook Pro. I have a 2019 Macbook Pro but the old one is still my favorite. It is running with Catalina OS and really can't upgrade the OS. The Catalina upgrade slowed it down a lot. Catalina has a quirk with the internal bluetooth adapter. Keeps disconnecting and no solutions work with the exception of using an external bluetooth. This works well and has greater distance.

Works natively for raspberry pi and orange pi zero without built-in BT functionality. Really enjoy the seamless integration with less common systems.

I accidentally threw out the dongle for my keyboard and mouse that I've been using for the past couple of years. Since they were expensive and I've had no issues with them, I didn't want to get new ones. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said they couldn't send me a replacement dongle because the items were too old, but advised me to get a USB adapter.I'm using a Mac OS High Sierra version. I noticed Hideez seemed to be one of the few companies offering adapters that are Mac-compatible. I tried another company's thinking it was Mac-compatible and it turned out it wasn't. I ordered Hideez's product and followed the instructions, which I have to admit I was a bit daunted by at first. But it turned out to not be a big deal. I'm happy to report that I am back using my old mouse and keyboard without issues so far. Phew!

Works with Linux Mint, but supposed range of 20m is actually 5m
