Absolutely delicious, I can’t believe I used to even attempt Asian foods without this. This is a complete game changer

Underwhelmed
I used this in my Chinese recipes supposed to make it taste just like it's from a Chinese takeaway, I'm sorry but it doesn't do anything to the taste didn't taste any different from my recipe.

Helps get that authentic takeaway flavour
Really amplifies asian dishes. Fried rice and chow main just don't taste the same without a wee bit sprinkled in. A little goes a long way with this stuff so it'll last long.

We should use it more.
I've not used this brand before but I'd forgotten to pick some up when I was shopping so I bought this as it was cheap enough and of course Prime delivery.I've only recently started to use these sorts of flavour enhancers after one of my favourite youtube cooking channels showed you how and why you should use it. They debunked the old wives tales about people having reactions using MSG. So I decided to give it a try and now I use it so much more. The trick with this is it will not make well seasoned, strong flavoured food taste any better it is best for more "blander" flavours, so for example a pan of veggie soup or mashed potatoes with a sprinkle of this added..or teaspoon..etc just give it an extra layer of flavour. It's really exactly the same as adding salt to flavour a food except it's doesn't make your food salty as it has no flavour at all.So there is no need to add it to everything, it won't make great food taste even greater but it does give an extra bit of "umami" to many dishes.

Magic
If you're learning to cook like a chinese takeaway this is a big help, makes dishes really taste like chinese takeaway. Some people may say MSG is not healthy etc but I don't know if that's the case, it's used in pretty much everything these days and you only really need a tiny pinch.I love chinese takeaway food but I live in the country where the nearest chinese place is just plain terrible (and very overpriced) and for anything decent I would have to drive at least 15 miles one way so with help of books like "Chinese Cookery Secrets: How to Cook Chinese Restaurant Food" by Deh-Ta Hsiung and YouTube tutorials I'm able to recreate my favourite meals at home for much less than half price of takeaway. Thanks to tiny pinch of MSG my dishes taste like takeaway meals.I didn't use any other brand yet as this bag will probably last me for another year. Really good value for money in my opinion. I call it 'magic' because it really brings out the flavours and makes every dish taste the way it should.
