This great value-for-money security device is extremely easy to use and does the job well. I bought this for a trailer. It takes seconds to fit, and the two keys work quickly to release the mechanism from the trailer socket. Ensure that you push the metal loop as far as you can into the locking device when you fit this.All in all, excellent security for a low price.

Seems really good for the cost.Pretty solid and as other reviews state; if they nasty folk wanna nick stuff they find a way-out but this is a great deterrent and time consumer if they try.Also good to quickly secure a trailer if left outside or at an event etc.Key and locking barrel is good and solid in my opinion.

This is quite a simple device that stops anybody hitching the trailer while it is fitted, it can also be useful for attaching a chain so the trailer can be anchored to something immovable. It seems pretty robust, but I am no expert, like most such devices it may not prevent theft if somebody is really determined but would probably put them off taking advantage on the spur of the moment. Only criticism, the keys were loose in the box.

But of pain to put on remember to release and hold up the hitch lock to be able to release . Sort of need extra pair of hands as need 2 to turn key and release metal part connecting with lock mechanismKey can be fiddly in dark but clearly marked which way to go in with bit of lightHas it worked, suppose so trailer still here

Good quality anti theft device

The chrome section is already rusting after just 2 months of use and the locking mechanism is cheap and its a real pain in the butt to fit the key into its slot.There's no chance it will stop a scumbag intent on stealing your trailer but it might deter the passing chancer who doesn't have the right tools to break it.

Quick convenient and slips into the glove compartment when I am using the trailer.This is really good value, especially as you can't drive off by mistake without removing it
