Always Dremel Brand
Dremel tools and accessories are always a cut above the bargain priced alternatives. They consistently run faster and truer. I've yet to get a bent shift on a Dremel branded bit. I've never had a Dremel grinder catastrophic fail when using within the specified aameters. Or outside the parameters, for that matter. They nearly always last longer and remain usable down to the nib. For jobs when I have a lot of material to move, I'll do the gross removal with cheap Chinese bits but for any fine, delicate, precision work, only genuine Dremel. And these silicon carbide bits are no exception. I'll be working with glass with these. They came out of the package running smooth and true. No burrs or abnormalities or voids. And that's key to getting good results with glass. Minimal vibration with the bit remaining in contact with the work surface. No jumping around causing cracks and clamshells.Genuine Dremel bits are expensive, no two ways around it, especially at the retail stores and Lowe's is on another planet. But you get what you pay for. And to keep prices in check, I look on Amazon, frequently, for deals. They're out there. You just have to be patient. If you see a good deal, jump on it! Even if you don't need a particular bit right them, if you use your Dremel often, you'll probably find a use for it. There's nothing worse than needing a tool right now that you have to wait for or use the almost right bit.Take it from me, stick with Dremel. Still made in the U.S.A.!

worked great on crystal bowl
Had a chipped handle on the bowl. I used this gently with my Dremel. It smoothed the chip out nicely. This stone leaves a dull finish, but we'll have to figure out how to polish the glass now. I am just glad the chip is gone and is safe to hold.

Work fine, but a bit small
I didn't realize how small these were, but they're durable and do the job.
