Once you do your research it will be fairly easy. Fob itself works great, even with factory remote start, cheap fast delivery great! Ok now you need to know. You still need to pay to have it cut. Most likely from a lock smith. I paid $70 just for the cut to a LS and that was the best in town that I could find. Don’t even try to do ace hardware or big box. They might say they can do it on their website. But when you walk in the whole place will shut down because they don’t even know what a key is. Let alone a newer more advanced one. You need to have one working set of keys and fob for this to be pretty easy. Once cut the new key still doesn’t do much. You certainly can’t drive with it. It will open the door but your horn will still go off on the anti theft thing. You tube has easy program instruction that worked exactly like the guys in the video did. All told about 100 bucks for new extra key and fob all working just like a dealer one. 1/3 the price. So I guess it was worth the leg work. If you have ZERO keys. My gut tells me it will be way more complicated.

We had an old key fob with broken buttons and a busted pop-out key feature. It was about to become unuseable. We purchased this replacement fob which looks identical to the original. We took the original key and the new fob to a local locksmith and paid $65 to have the new key cut. Afterward, we followed some extremely simple instructions on line to program the new fob. These instructions came from the manufacturer of the new fob. This item is well made and works like a charm.

Programming was extremely easy, however, the key fob rarely works unless you are extremely close to the car. I have to push the unlock button a dozen times before all doors will unlock. And the remote start feature is pretty useless if it won’t start my vehicle from far away.

It was a challenge switching the cut key to this key fob because I couldn't get the spring put back together to allow the key to pop out when presses.

Easy to program and to have key cut by Locksmith. Easy to just swap the key itself if you only need the remote. I bought two so to have a spare.

Cheap quality. Haven’t had a year and already has stopped working. After speanfing 180$ to have key cut for fob. Buttons to hard to push and didn’t work half of the time. It tells me needs new battery put new battery in and still won’t work .

No problem getting this cut to fit the car. A neighbor programmed the key and it worked immediately. Well worth the price, better buttons than the original. Such are relief.
