Nice looking hasp/latch
Neat hasp/latch that I put on a treasure chest that I built for my nephews. Great antique look and function. One of the pieces that sticks out that the pin slides through was a bit loose and wiggles, hopefully it holds up but I do fear that it will break off over time.

Love the color and design, not the fit and finish
This was ordered for a 13"x20" maple chest/box. It is a good complement to the color of the maple wood.I needed to grind the edges off of the posts so the clasp would fit over them once it was mounted, this affected the finish of course.It is a bit flimsy and not really intended for any security or even holding a lid closed under pressure, but as a decoration and finishing piece, it serves its' purpose well.
