I was particularly interested in this weight-loss supplement because it just contains 2 healthy and safe ingredients: lemon verbena extract and hibiscus flower extract. So many weight loss supplements contain a lot of ingredients, many of which I am not comfortable taking, but I really like the formulation of this product. I love hibiscus and already drink a lot of hibiscus tea because it is very effective for lowering high blood pressure. So this supplement whos promise in several areas.The active ingredient in it "Metabolaid" has been clinically studied, and after 84 days, people taking it lost roughly 2lbs more fat than individuals not taking it. This is a very nice improvement considering these individuals weren't even dieting or exercising in the study. That being said, 84 days is a long time, and that would be roughly 3 bottles of this at 30 capsules per bottle.Another clinical trial showed similar benefits: "a significant reduction of body fat content (1.5% reduction) and nocturnal systolic blood pressure (−16.60 mmHg)." That's a very impressive drop in fat loss and night-time blood pressure, without any dieting or exercise.I notice a definite decrease in appetite when I take this supplement, and it seems to be good for blood sugar levels and my metabolism. I haven't noticed any weight changes yet, and I don't expect to considering the clinical trials lasted many weeks and only saw a couple lbs difference in bodyweight.Thoughts:I think this is a great supplement with metabolic and cardiovascular health benefits, that then can potentially carry over to fat loss and improvements in body composition. The clinical trials have been quite promising, so it seems like a great addition to any weight-loss journey. Just don't expect it to do all or even most of the work.
