Q: 2015 toyota camry had tires swapped during rotation. tpms does not find any tire. will this make it work? will this do the same for 2017 mustang?

Yes. You have to read the ID’s on the swapped wheels and enter them in the computer on the car they are moved to. I did the same thing, swapping wheels from a 2009 xB to a 2015 xB. Have to plug in the device into your car’s data port. Directions are in the manual & YouTube.

Q: Does this unit test key fob by sensing it's proximity? How does it work?

I haven’t used to test key fobs yet, but I imagine it would just tell if and how strong the RF signal from the fob is when you press a button on the fob.
