These were perfect for my application.I used them to cover up some 3/8” threaded rod protruding from my deck to secure our new gazebo. They fit well and were flexible enough to be stretched some if need be.I’d recommend trimming them to size for your application if you are afraid of them coming off.

I bought a few of these, but only learned when they arrived that they were either too large or too small for what I really needed. There's a gap between the 3mm and 6.5mm caps that's filled by 4.5mm caps, which is what I needed (and which may be the most popular size). There are other sets that do include 4.5mm caps, and you can buy 4.5mm caps separately in 50 and 100 unit packs (again, probably because these may be the most popular). But these are still good sets at a good price.

Price is right, product works great with many sizes for your application.

Years ago, these pliers came with rubber tips, but I have since lost them. Hardware stores stopped selling pliers with rubber guard tips. My only option was craft stores, but those pliers were for jewelry making and too small for what I needed them for. I found these rubber tips on Amazon and they were a perfect fit! They come in a variety of sizes.

Got these to cover screws on swing set so children wouldn’t get scratched it was a good quality different sizes and a good value for the money
