Are all of the socket, wrenches, tool bits, etc snap fit to the case so that they do not fall out easily?

Mine came with almost all the sockets loose in the case. Some do not stay in place and fall off when you close the case, but most of them do stay.

Who manufactures the set?

Honestly not sure. It is an "off brand" however as a person who normally is very particular in brands was highly impressed with this set for my son. I have used some pieces from it and have not worried about quality or strength
