arrived quickly in a plastic case. I see now that it was to come with a paper telling you what the feet are. I did not receive any such paper and would appreciate one to be sent to me PLease.

Does not work for my Janome 3160. Differences in machine specs for feet may affect compatibility
I found the feet to be of good quality, with the exception of the adjustable zipper foot having a bit of rust on it. The box was sturdy and a great way to hold them all. It should be noted that this is a box of universal feet, so some may fit your machine while others may not. I have a Janome 3160QDC (7mm) and found that the needle hole on most of the feet was either quite a bit too far forward, or just enough too far forward so that the needle was slightly deflected as it rubbed the back side of the needle hole. I will note that I bought this machine second hand and it is possible that my particular machine is more sensitive due to perhaps the needle bar having been Some of the feet I believe were designed for a 9mm machines, so the feet did not line up on the feed dogs correctly. I do not find this a fault of the feet. I believe this is just the nature of a group of many different “universal” feet. This also explains what some people refer to as duplicates. I think if you look at them closely one is probably wider than the other, or the needle hole placement or width is different.

Great product for a fair price.
This is a great kit to have if you do a lot of sewing. I strongly recommend this

Yes, it's more presser feet than I'll ever need, but...
Okay, yes, with 52 pieces I knew there had to be some feet that filled the exact same function as one or two others. But, for someone who had very little experience with "special feet," that was appealing. This way I can try the different styles of feet and see which I prefer to use for each task. Buying one presser foot at a time to see if I like it woud end up being very expensive. I can happily donate the ones I decide not to use in the future and still come off better financially. Or hang on to them in case I find an instance in which my less favorite would actually work better.I have inspected each and every one of the feet in the set and can honestly say I'm impressed with the quality. They are all well made. There are no rough edges or careless joins, unlike a $9 name brand (single) foot I purchased a few weeks ago from a local fabric shop. I noted one reviewer complained about measurements not being accurate. However I don't find that to be the case. It may just be a matter of where his/her needle is positioned. Finally, I will say that I did have a small issue with the condition of the item when it first arrived. One case was damaged and I had 2 duplicates with 2 missing feet. I contacted their Customer Service and have a complete (and perfect) replacement only a few days later. So, yes, I would recommend this as a gift. But be sure you have a little lead time just in case.P.S. Since I know many people aren't acquainted with all the kinds of special feet available, and since there is no accompanying manual with this set, you may want to know that there are 3 clear and simple Youtube videos on this specific set that. They not only show each of the feet and explain what its purpose it, they include short demonstrations in using each type. They will get you started quickly and easily in using them.

If You Sew A Lot, These Might Help!
These 42 sewing machine foot attachments are, for the most part, helpful for very specialized sewing tasks. I've only tried two of them so far, but they seem solid and well made. The vendor sends along a short description and diagram of each foot. If only one of them allows me to do a sewing operation better than before, then I figure that this was money well spent! Update: It's kind of a pain to look through all these feet to find the right one, so I've started numbering them as I go. There's at least one flat area on these (under the attachment bar) and many, like this one, has a flat area that's more easily accessible. So I cut out a section from a printer label and marked it with the attachment number and stuck it on.

Make sure you get them all
I saw that another reviewer went through them and numbered them. I did that and found I didn't get all the correct ones. I have the correct number but 3 don't match their picture.I have a brother machine. I attached 2 so far and they attached well and seem to work.
