I can't lie - I was quite tempted by the novelty factor of paisley patterned and rainbow coloured sets of knives that I found in a similar price range to this one. Thankfully I remembered that I like nice things that stand the test of time, and as soon as I opened the box I knew I'd made the right decision to opt for this sleak and stylish collection.These look and feel (to me as a definitely amateur cook) like a professional set of knives. I love that they are all one piece - a feature that I struggled to find elsewhere within my budget. They are super sharp and just feel good to hold and use - I suppose this is what is meant when the pros talk about the weight or balance of a knife. I was a little apprehensive that they would be slippery but this was (thankfully) unfounded, as I am enough of a risk in the kitchen as it is!My next job will be to get one of those magnetic strips to go on the wall, so I can show off my lovely new knives and feel epic every time I select one and it makes a sound like a sword being unsheathed as I pull it from the wall.Assuming they don't let me down on the sword-like sound effects, these really are great knives at great price that I'd definitely recommend.

Good quality knife set. Perfect for all your cooking needs. They are super sharp and are also easy to sharpen. They are a little on the heavier side so may not be great for people with grip issues.

These are my dainty show knives lol, I love the look and quality of the knives, it doe not feel cheap, they’re very sturdy and have a nice weight & sheen to them. It’s real comfortable to hold in the hands, however the holder is not glass but is lightweight, nice and solid feeling. This all fits nicely into small spaces and gives the kitchen a real stylish and bougie feel. I am very pleased and the price is reasonable, I highly recommend.I was inspired by a youtuber who had similar sets but they cost £169 and was determined to find pretty much the same or similar item but cheaper and boom!!!

Old Jim Royle would have something to say about these knives being stainless steel.Saw these knives read the reviews and decided not to buy.Two days later my Mrs saw these knives didn't read the reviews and the next day I received the parcel!I take my hat off they are sharp at the mo however, after just one dunk in the sink I've noticed that rust was forming along the blade.But I suppose this is what happens when the true industrial nations close shop and hand over the baton to amateurs.My grandmother still has a bread knife from her mother that still going strong and is over 100 years old. I doubt these things will see me through the next year if they carry on rusting.
