I've had this for a couple years now and still use it all the time. I got it when I was a courier to hold my clipboard, paperwork supplies and such and it's been great. I hang it on the passenger seat and if some rides with me I just flip it around to hang of the back. I love the side pockets for water bottles and fountain drinks and they expand to hold really big ones, which is cool. Apparently you can also flip the top down and carry it in like a bag (perfect for computers or tools) but I never did that.It's been my companion for a long time now and I still love it.

Overall this was perfect for my Rideshare business. I would have given 5 stars but for one fatal error. The top strap that goes around the headrest was stitched inside of the zippered mesh pocket on the flap. To use the strap, you can't zipper up the mesh pocket, as seen in my photos. Probably due to a manufacture, or lack of final inspection error.

Before I bought this bad, I read the review about the alleged design flaw. I decided to get the bag anyway, because compared to other similar bags this seemed to fit my needs best.Addressing first the “design flaw,” there isn’t one. At least if there is a design flaw, it’s not what the other reviewer pointed out. It’s obvious that the mesh bag isn’t intended to store anything except the strap. That is why it is designed as it is - with the strap sewn inside. Think about the opposite, if it was sewn outside then you wouldn’t be able to store it inside the mesh bag and zip it up. The other reviewer fails to realize that.As it turns out, it’s a nice and conveniently sized bag. I am a believer that big bags just encourage us to store more stuff and things get lost. This is nicely sized and well compartmentalized encouraging me to pack minimally, but enough to be useful.I’m based in an office. However, with work from home and childcare, I find myself on the road more and sometimes take calls from the car and work from a laptop. This allows me to wrap up a meeting from the parking garage and pack up to head into the office.

I just received the FifthQuarter front seat organizer today, and was about to return it for an exchange of the same item because I thought the one I had received was defective. But then I examined the product photos more closely and learned that my item is not defective, it just has a design flaw. If you look closely at the product photos (and I will try to upload photos as well), you will see that the strap that attaches to the headrest is sewn into the organizer INSIDE the mesh zippered pocket— meaning that you will NEVER be able to close the mesh pocket when you have that strap in use in “car” mode. If you do not have that strap deployed (as in when you are carrying the organizer as a shoulder bag or backpack), if you want to zip that mesh pocket closed (which you MUST or whatever is in the mesh pocket will fall out because it is upside down when in “bag/backpack” mode) you will have to store the strap inside the mesh pocket, using up about 1/5 of the space in that pocket. If this quirk will seriously inconvenience you, you should consider getting another front seat organizer. For my particular use case scenarios, MOST of the time this inexplicable design fart will not affect me so, for the price, I have decided to keep it. It seems well made with solid material & tight stitching (though, since I got it today, I can’t honestly speak to its durability), and I really like & prefer its storage features, portability, and pocket arrangement as compared with higher priced similar items. Does exactly what I need it to, so far it's rode shotgun with me in 4 different vehicles and it's adjusted to fit just how I wanted it to. Well made, feels sturdy but not stiff like a Carhartt.
