John Walker: Done justice, at least to this fan.
So, backstory behind why I love this character so much. When I was a kid, I would always go to this store called Bookman’s which had a bunch of used/new stuff. You guessed it, a comic aisle. There was this comic that caught my attention. It was “Nomad” issue #3 the cover had Nomad bursting thorough a window with a gray color schemed Captain America, so I thought it was Cap. The tag on the comic said “Ex-Bucky vs Ex-Captain America” I had to pick it up from this store, after reading it.It had quite a few interesting characters and it pretty much got me sold on John Walker / U.S. Agent.I’m not going to sit here and say I was eagerly hoping this guy would pop up in a MCU movie, because I didn’t. I am a bit stubborn when it comes to change and I couldn’t stand the idea of them changing up this character I enjoyed so much. Seeing him in the Captain America suit in the Falcon and Winter Soldier series, I had mixed feelings. Not enough to make threats or act a fool on social media but enough to really pay attention on any little updates I could get before the series came out.I’ve rambled enough, but was a huge fan of this portrayal of the character. Hence the purchase(s)———————OVERALL LOOK:This figure nails it for me, I’ve seen comments here and elsewhere this isn’t entirely what the end results are.I currently see what they mean it’s a black and white repaint, I’m thinking, but hey.. I’ll gladly buy an accurate re-release of US Agent, any day.Mine has some odd paint oops on the back of his leg, but whatever. Not entirely bothered by it.ACCESSORIES:You pretty much get:(x4 hands) (BAF part)- x2 Closed Fist Hand(s)They’re cool, especially if you want them for punching someone. If not, you got the default hands on the figure that can hold accessories. Which he comes with.. Zero. For him.- A Falcon wing.. Piece.Which, it is stunning. I cannot wait to build this part.Slightly frustrating that the build a figure is an accessory for a character released in the same line. But they did it with Vulture. So this isn’t something entirely unheard of.I wish they gave us a knife or a firearm that isn’t molded into the holster, but we haven’t seen Walker in action, in this suit. That really shouldn’t matter, I’m not sure what the excuse for this was but hey, not every figure comes with an assortment of accessories or a small arsenal. So, maybe they’ll give the next version of this figure a shield or possibly a changeable head or unmasked John Walker head would’ve also been a nice accessory. For now, I’ll probably buy an extra Red Guardian shield and pop it on my U.S. Agent.(It might not be accurate but I feel like it’ll fit the color scheme more since it seems like it’ll be a while before he gets his signature shield.)Also, swappable head! It’s U.S. Agent, I want a head with an awesome angry expression.BUT… As shown in one of my pictures, you can swap his hands with other Marvel Legend hands.Hint hint.. Captain America. Where you can use their previous shield throwing hand. A patriotic salute hand, etc. Some shields port into his back, (I am baffled they didn’t do this for the Civil Warrior or the Hydra Cap figure, but this guy? Who doesn’t come with a shield? Alright. Odd logic, hasbro.)It is kind of a tight fit where I felt worried I might break the peg trying to pull the shield loose.Just obviously make sure both hands are swapped or he’ll look like he’s making an odd fashion statement going on entirely gloved slightly different shade of red hand, and a fingerless gloved hand on the other.Or a typical glove free set of hands, they might fit. I can’t vouch for that. I don’t have any besides a Stan Lee figure I haven’t opened.ARTICULATION:I’m a fan of the new head and neck joint. Just feels sturdy. The articulation otherwise feels pretty much what some of us have come to expect and love with your typical Marvel Legends figures. You can put him in plenty of poses.FINAL THOUGHTSI am very happy with this figure, I wish he came with more accessories. I’m kinda hoping this figure spawns more figures of Walker one day. An updated retro costumed US Agent, his force works costume, his Judge Dredd-esque helmet, his recent mini-series outfit any of these wouldn’t be too bad either.I’m all for this figure, and when that John Walker Cap figure comes out, he’s going to look awesome besides him just as well.If you was a fan of the character in any shape or form, I definitely encourage you to pick him up.As usual it’s kind of a guessing game on what condition the box will arrive. I bought two of this figure and one was drastically creased at the top. So, they made it an easy choice on which one to open.

It's The Same But Black!
I think this figure is great. The articulation and sculpt work is great but one thing that turns me off is the inaccuracy. This was obviously based off on early concept art of the character so it isn't be an exact resemblance of what the viewers saw in tye hit Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However what's odd is that the art on the back and side of the figure gives us an accurate U.S. Agent so it's very odd that Hasbro didn't make the figure look like that. Unless of course, they made the figure but weren't able to change it in time when they found out the final design for U.S. Agent. So due to the inaccuracy, I wouldn't recommend buying as they'll most likely re-release him with a more accurate design that's closer and more faithful to his on-screen appearance. However if you want to get it, get it. It's up to you if it's worth the money value. If you want you can customize it to make look accurate but that's extra work in my opinion. But I'm still satisfied with how the figure looks like disregarding the colors altogether.

Get this man a shield!
This is my fourth figure in this “Disney Plus” Marvel Series line and there’s not much more to say in terms of the quality from the sculpt, articulation and paint applications. They are all top notch down to John Walker’s underbite. However, my biggest gripe is the lack of a shield accessory. This is curious since there is a peg hole on the back where I’m assuming you can attach it to. Instead we get the standard extra set of hands (close-fisted). Though not my favorite figure out of the set, it’s still an impressive work.

Posable with a solid color scheme. A great value on special! U.S. Agent makes a great companion to the John Walker Captain America figure.
