Works great to hold curls. Sprays effectively, came in working condition. Has a pleaser scent.Only reason I gave it 4 stars is for my long hair it left it knotty, a little rough to comb through the next day.

Purchased this after seeing at my salon. $ 30 at the salon. Besides it being half the price on Amazon of the salon price, this product works great. I have fine, thin hair. Always use a styling gel & let my hair dry before curling. My curls flop after I curl them until I discovered this spray. I lightly spray on my hair before curling & it really holds my curl. No more flopping. Purchased a 2nd can from Amazon so I don’t run out. This is a great product for those of us older gals with fine, thin hair. Still use my gel & then this spray to hold my curls.

While this product does add texture, it also adds a heap of oil to my baby fine hair. The texturizing effect fades so fast, I'm just left with greasy, limp, tangled hair and have to shower it out ASAP. I guess it's good for looking great for the first hour after use - but for my hair type, that's not worth the cost. I only use it when we're going out, and I have to shampoo it out before bed that night.

I am in my 70s, have always had very fine straight hair. But now with the multitude of prescriptions I have to take, it's getting very thin too. I needed some oomph! And this product gave me just that without looking "old lady-ish!" I've used Joico products for years and am more delighted with this!-Rhonda

I'd give zero if I could. The site said this product was unscented, however it's not unscented. It absolutely reeks like strong perfume and chemicals. It gave me an instant migraine from just one spray of the product. I've tried Joico products in the past that I have liked but they were discontinued sadly. Just be warned if you're sensitive to strong smells, don't get this item.
