If you work with electronics you need De Ox It spray. It's the best stuff on pots and contacts. Pricey, but well worth the investment. Just use a tiny drop, not a carwash full.

A great product for guitar electronics. Cleans but more importantly simultaneously lubricates scratchy pots.

Worked great and seems to have fixed my contact issue. Only complaint is the plastic tube is too small of a diameter and did not fit into the nozzle. I had to borrow a tube from a can of WD-40. In the photo below, you can see the inner diameter of the tube is much smaller on the left (tube that came with Deoxit) vs the tube on the right (from WD-40).

It's a nice work for my audio.

This did exactly what the product is supposed to do, cleaned up some crackly control pots in my 1992 bass amp. Of course, I used compressed air to blow out any dirt in the controls first, as recommended by pros. I set the spray on "light" with split second bursts, and I think that is the right setting for most jobs. Using higher spray setting would put too much of the product in places you don't want it to go.
