I like them. Not like typical place mat material (silicone) but if you like thin, easy to wash mats with a rubbery feel, then give them a try. I like them because you can use for protecting your desk, setting equipment on etc, because they are so thin and grip tightly. Slight rubber smell when package is opened but I washed them in soapy water and air-dried and it disappeared.

Good grip but not sticky. Great for my use. Weight is good. They roll up easy and clean easy.

Best mats I have used, easy cleanup, lays flat all the time, Use the mats to place hot pots on the counter top without damaging the counter top finish.As regular place mats, they are easy clean up. Stain resistant, if not stain proof.A table cloth would be great with this material.

We’re not trying to protect the cooktop when we’re using it, we just need something to protect it when we aren’t. This arrived rolled up, so no creases, which seem to be an issue with many of these. We’re pleased with the gauge—2mm, I think? Which is enough that it feels like a bit of a cushion when you set something on it. It doesn’t cover our 30” stovetop but I knew that going into it—it covers enough that we’ll have a nice, useable surface when we’re not using the stove.

I'm not a fan of granite counters but it's what I've got. It's very patterned so difficult to tell of it's dirty. I bought the large size to cover my work counter so I could see drips and food particles and it's working well. I can knead bread dough on the mat and mixing bowls don't slip. It's a thin mat but has stood up well and cleans easily with soap and water.

The mat is 1mm in thickness, the shade matches the brown on the countertop and works well to prevent metal items from scratching the counter top. The only thing that would make it better is it the product was thicker.

Doesn’t distort when hot objects are placed on them. Cleans up easily with a dish cloth right on the countertop.

The size is perfect on my dryer! However, I wish it was a little thicker.
