How do you charge the battery and how long does it last?

the battery will last about half a year to 1 year, depend on how often you use it, they are normal AA alkaline batteries, just replace them when the battery run out

I have charged batteries but hfam20b says battery power is low - any help please??

please check the way you install the batteries, do not install it in a wrong way, the negative side of battery should connect with the spring side in battery case
