Majority of these chrome powders work super well. There are a few that show up a bit dull but still buff out for a clean non glittery look.Please follow the directions on the box. Not curing the no wipe top coat you use makes a big difference. The up to 10secs curing they suggest is correct. I experimented with cure times and the box directions will give you best results for all the powders. If you cure the top coat for too long some of the powders wont adhere at all (mainly the fushcia pink color that i noticed)I really like the effect they give. With a high shine top coat over the powder you get a really good mirror/chrome effect.Great set for someone just starting out, you get so much powder in so many different colors to experiment to your hearts content.The containers are small and youll think "thats all we get" but even with the small amount given it lasts so long because it only takes a teeny tiny amount to get the chrome effect. Work small and up dont dump a while bunch onto your finger you'll just be wasting it.Im not too keen on the containers themselves they are a bit difficult to open. Do it carefully and over something to catch anything that falls (you dont want to have to try to get this out of carpet its really hard, thankfully i dont rent and our carpets are old)Overall Im really happy with these. My favorite colors are the magenta/fushcia pinks and the blue.I put the over black gel polish. I did a few with a light/white color and although it worked you dont get that oomph like you do with black.Any NO WIPE top coat should work.Do some practice sets.. figure out the best top coat cure time to get the best shine out of these (for my light and top coat its 8 secs, and every color shows up wonderfully)Buffing the powder in with the included tools is very important... buff it in..... make it shine.If youre using these and getting more of a glitter effect i suggest re read the instrctions on the box and make sure you're doing it correctly. Glitter effect only happens when you use this product incorrectly.

You will not be disappointed. I like that it came with so many different colors for the price. Easy to apply and looks really nice, but you have to make sure you purchase a no wipe top coat polish and for best results use a black base color 😉

They give a VERY GENEROUS AMOUNY of mica! I have not used them yet, so I do not have a photo, but I purchased after seeing someone else's art work with them. Each container is very large in comparison to what others offer and each one is at least 3/4ths full. My lighting is poor in this photo, so don't judge the colors on my photo, I was just showing how big there are! I put a lighter in the middle for size reference. I will purchase other products from this company if they have more.

I LOVE this chrome powder! It does exactly what it says. Easy to use, durable and long lasting, so many colors to choose from! The cost was great and honestly was worth more. Buy this!

Edit: 11/21I put these down for a little while since I was initially not happy with it. Watched some YT videos on different approaches to this and found the one that works (for me)! Now, I absolutely LOVE these. There are a few that ARE just glitter powder but most actually are the mirror/chrome powders I wanted. I get the best clean look when I make sure to do a few important things. 1) make sure your nails are clean, SMOOTHE, and oil free. BUFF THE SURFACE 2) use a latex brush on-peel off tape around your nail bed right up to the edges of your cuticles and sides. This way you don't need to worry about being neat. 3) use a no-wipe top coat and cure for a little over half the recommended time on the bottle. I didn't like using a black color base coat initially so I've only used clear base and these still show well 3) I use a small makeup brush (like a little blush brush) to apply and sweep it on. I dab the brush in the powder then sweep down onto my nails a few times till I see the shine. I put a kleenex under my hands. As I move from one nail to the other I simply dab into the excess powder that falls onto the kleenex before going back to the pot. I don't like feeling like I'm wasting the powder. (I just ordered the powder recycle cup) then I use a regular blush brush to brush my nails off and apply another top coat. I've applied up to 2 coats of powder. Anything more than that and it looks clownish. After your last top coat, just peel off the latex cuticle tape, wash your hands with regular soap and water. Done! This whole process takes me less than 30 min for a satisfactory finish on both hands. I can do it so quickly b/c the cuticle peel off tape means I don't need to worry about being super neat. If I rub across my cuticles with either the gel or powder that part is going to be peeled away anyway.For the most part my nails end up with the chrome look and just a hint of glitter/sparkle which I love!Also: DO NOT use cuticle oil or body oil for a little while after applying. It will lift the gel right off your nail. I learned this the hard way. Regular lotion is fine.Get a gel polish remover that brushes on. It makes removal SO much easier, faster, and with zero damage to your nails. No harsh fileing needed. Just brush it on, wait about 5-10 min depending on how many coats of powder/ polish you applied, then use an orange stick or another flat tool to simply push the powder right of your nail. You will literally SEE it lifting off before you even touch it.Original review: I like the colors though some are very close/similar in color. But these are glittery not chrome. I've tried them with a black base, a white base, a clear base and they look the same each time. Glittery but not chrome. Not even a mirror shine. The top coat makes it look like any other nail polish shine but no chrome and no mirror shine at all. I gave it 2 stars only because the colors are pretty, it's easy to apply, the quantity is really good, and it arrived in packaged well.

The 16 jar set has every color I need (and more) except a Christmas-time red. Other than that these chrome powders are perfection. Be sure to watch videos online to learn how to get the mirror effect and not a glittery effect. Also one tip: different base colors will result in different chrome shades. If you want a deep/intense chrome, use black as a base. If you want a lighter/brighter chrome, use white as a base. You can also use colored bases!

This is a great variety of chrome powders. The colors are beautiful and has all the main colors you will need for nails.
