Excellent
Very nice to sew with and not too hard to thread. Sharper than ordinary needle which works well.

best hand needles I've ever used!
I do not practice the art of Sashiko, but I would like too! I use these for any handwork with needle and thread. Great quality, very sharp and strong needles! Put the stuff at the craft store to shame.

Long and Very Sharp
I bought these for big stitch quilting projects and of the all the many various types I've tried these are definitely the best. They push through the layers of fabric, batting and backing with no resistance; so my hands/fingers don't get tired. I do wish the longest needle was even longer. I typically can get 4 stitches on the needle before pulling my thread through. You might have to use a threading gizmo, but I can usually get my #8 pearl cotton or 3 strands of floss through without one. The thinness of the eye helps make the quilting a breeze. These seem to be very strong needles. They are pricey, but worth it.

Broke a needed / Prob my faut
This is probably user error, but I was hand sewing an embroidered patch onto a football jersey, and the head snapped. I have only used it for two days, but I think it is from being new. This is the first time I’ve sewn anything by hand.

This worked well for the embroidery I wanted to try.
this worked really well for the sashikko embroidery. I loved this needle, it was pretty long, and very sharp. I would recommend this needle.

My favorites
I purchased several brands of Sashiko needles to find which ones I liked best and these were by far my favorites. They are smooth, strong, and pass through all kinds of fabrics easily. There are a variety of sizes for different types of Sashiko projects.
