Just sprayed today
I’ll give it 5 stars initially because it smells good and I want to taste it, but my better half said no.I used the red top ortho sprayer to apply this to the yard. I started off with 8oz of product in the sprayer, and like a doofus set the sprayer head dial to “8oz”.One small 7’x7’ ft spot of my yard now has about $10 of product in it as it emptied the sprayer jug FAST.I then dialed it down (without reading instructions of course) to about 1tblspoon but that took forever. Finally felt 4tablespoons setting on the dial felt about right. Slow application but definitely getting pumped out. I went over the lawn twice with that setting as I have very hard clay cement under my st Augustine grass.I also applied another 8oz directly and exclusively to a trench line I’ve been trying to dig out. It’s been to hard for a pick axe and a tiller can’t make any good progress either.Really hoping this helps soften it up. I’ll check tomorrow and see if anything magical happened overnight.FYI I watered the lawn manually after each application, just a nice slow spray down to try and get the product into the soil but not so much it ran off into the street.I preemptively ordered another jug as I used the bulk between the trench line, that 7’x7’ corner, and the rest of the lawn. I figure I’ll reapply in a few weeks and then again mid-spring if it works this time around. If it helps me dig this trench, it’ll be worth it. If it makes my grass happier, that’ll be a bonus.Stay tuned.UPDATE: Not sure what I was expecting, but it didn’t magically soften the clay packed soil I was trenching. One thing I have noticed in the two weeks since I’ve sprayed the lawn is that it’s become easier to stab the sprinklers into the ground. Whereas before I would constantly bend the cheap metal sprinkler stake, now the problem is often that the sprinkler feels too loose. So maybe this stuff works. I have been watering every 2 days this summer to keep the lawn alive, so it could just be that.. but I genuinely feel as if the soil is easier to penetrate this year.I’ve also noticed the blade width of my st Augustine has almost doubled in size. Where it would normally be about 1/8”-1/4” in width, some blades are freaking half an inch wide.I did recently fertilize, and of course frequent watering, so again.. could be that… but I think I’ll give the lawn a good spray or two every year with this stuff. When your team wins the Super Bowl you make sure you’re wearing the same socks the following year… so I’m not changing anything up if the grass is the best it’s ever been!

Did a little, but not enough
I looked around and believed this would be the product but it just fell short. I don’t know if it was the ground itself, but it did not penetrate as well as I had expected. It was less expensive than I could have gotten it locally and was easy to use but I would not get it again

Seems too expensive for the quantity
Quantity seems very less. Will update review after seeing results. Adding photo with 5 gallon bucket for reference

Best thing I have ever put on my lawn!
Have to admit, I was sceptical. However, after only 3 days, my lawn has responded fantastically! I had 5 or 6 brown spots that I thought I would have to reseed. The rest of the lawn was growing unevenly with parts barely growing and other spots growing normally. In most places in the lawn, I could only push a screwdriver into the soil 2 or 3 inches. My lawn was so hard and bumpy my lawnmower was bouncing around while mowing.I applied the Covington Liquid Lawn Aerator just 3 days ago at 32oz for 6000 square feet. I watered it in with my garden hose sprayer as recommended. Lucky for me, that evening, we received an unexpected 1" rainfall. I think that may have contributed to the product working so quickly for me. Anyway, 3 days later, it looks like I have a new lawn! The brown spots have all but disappeared. The entire lawn looks lush and green and feels soft and cushiony under foot. I can push my 6" screwdriver into the soil up to the handle with minimal effort. I have spent hundreds of dollars on lawn services, fertilizers, etc. , but the Covington Liquid Lawn Aerator improved my lawn more than all of that. After my purchase, the Covington company emailed me to ensure that I was satisfied with the product and offered expert help and advice should I require it.Truly a remarkable product and company.I should say that perhaps my results are better than normal, perhaps because of the rain we received. The accompanying literature stresses that lawn rejuvenation is a long term effort, but they do have a guarantee. I am very pleased with my purchase and will be using Covington Liquid Lawn Aerator from now on.

Applies easily
I only just applied the product so I can't yet attest to its efficacy. However, it comes with easily understandable instructions and it applies easily. If it works well, I will provide an update. So far, I would definitely recommend Covington Naturals to anyone on the fence about using their products. EDIT: It has now been about a month since application and wow, this stuff works. The grass got greener within just a few days and here a month later, there is an appreciable difference in the softness of the soil and the thickness of the grass. The bermudagrass runners are finally beginning to work their way onto some of the patches that have been as hard as concrete for years. I highly recommend this product.
