This is a huge problem solver for me. I am old and short and my bed is high. It was getting difficult getting in bed comfortably. I was looking for something that had steps that were not as high as normal steps so they would be easier for me and my bad knees.This works perfectly for me and the bonus is that it does not look like a something from a medical supply company. It is a beautiful little piece that I am pleased to have in my room.The only thing that might be a problem is that the lower step is not very deep. I have small feet so it is not a problem for me. I love this.

This is a solid wood stool with two steps. It has one that can slide in and out from under the top step as needed. Our master bedroom has a canopy bed where the mattress sits quite high and this allows us to get up and into bed with ease. I think the finish is excellent - it's a clear varnish and shows the wood grain nicely. It is very stable and it looks to be able to hold a lot more weight - maybe 300 lbs or so - with no problem. It looks nice with our hardwood floor as well. A great solution for a simple but annoying problem.

I laughed when I saw my package as I’d imagined this to be bigger. I was used to the big ugly step ladder I had been using. What I ended up realizing is it’s as big as it needs to be and it’s nice that it’s not so big. Made out of a light wood. Easy to move around but doesn’t slide around. I like it a lot. Looks nice and functions as needed. It gets me up in my high bed. I’ll probably use it for other things as well because it is light and easily moved. Add on/used this last night and noticed how nice it is to push in the bottom step for added space. Also the wood has groves that keep it from being slippery, comfortable to step on as well.

I ordered this for my elderly husband to use next to our bed. He has had other steps, but this is by far the best. I love that it is wooden. It looks like a crafted item, not something from a factory. The lower step completely slides beneath the larger step, or you can leave it in the out position. There is a carved rail with a stopper. It is very solid and secure, doesn't wobble at all when you step on it. I thought about painting it, but decided to leave it naturel. It has a very light coating that smooths the wood.

Better than plastic step.

I bought this step stool specifically to use with the Aerogarden Bamboo Plant Stand, since the top shelf on the stand is a bit too high for me. According to the description this stool is 9.5 inches which works with the space under the plant stand which is 9.75" so storing this stool under the plant stand while not in use would be good. Although when I received the stool, I found out the measurements weren't totally accurate.The stool comes with rubber feet to help with slipping which is great but it does add 3/8" to the total height which came out to 10", too tall to fit under the stand. Removing the rubber feet thankfully allowed it to fit underneath with no room to spare, the total height without the feet is 9 5/8". I know it's just an 8th of an inch difference from the description but if you're looking for a specific height, keep all this in mind. (see pics)I am very happy with the sturdiness and construction of the stool though. It's solid, very well built, and attractive, plus it matches the bamboo finish of the Aerogarden plant stand so works out perfect for me.
