this works well
I used the deer netting over my tomato plants to keep the deer, squirrels, and birds away from my tomato plant. Works great except where the plant grows out of the cage and netting. Last year I put extra cages around my tomato cages to give the plants a little more room to grow without growing our of the netting. This kept the structure a little stronger so the deer couldn't push into the netting better to get to the plant.

Deer netting does work and this brand is as good as any.
I don't know that this brand is better than any other, but it's folded not rolled, and I find that convenient. Others may disagree. It's inexpensive, it's unobtrusive (almost invisible) and it does keep the deer at bay. Like all deer netting, it is not/not easy to work with. It's so light that the slightest breeze blows it around, and it snags on everything. Best to have two people putting it up. Also best if it's hung taut, from poles that don't bend easily or from tree branches. Should be fastened securely top and bottom. I hang it from black boundary wire (also unobtrusive) and stake it down at the bottom with ground staples. It's tough but not indestructible. If you have lots of other animal visitors (e.g. raccoons, possums, squirrels) leave some gaps at the bottom so they won't tear it loose trying to get through. And don't hang it too near bird feeders. Birds don't always see it, and can get badly tangled up in it. Bottom line--next to an 8-foot chain link fence, this is the best way to keep deer off.

very light and nearly invisible, but adequately strong
this netting is very, very light. it comes folded and is a little tricky to unfold, but the folded package is so small and convenient it's worth having to unfold. I was worried it would quickly rip, but I stapled nearly 100 feet around the 4x4 posts of a rectangular garden and it's held up very well. I don't know if it's going to hold up for years, but I expect it to last this season at least.Be aware that this fencing is nearly invisible. I hear the animals don't like the feel of the poly on their noses, but I could see deer crashing through this barrier without even knowing it was there. I used it above a lower course of hardware cloth, and so far I have no evidence anything has gone through it. I'm also happy to report I haven't (yet) found any birds or insects trapped in the netting.

More Bird Netting than Deer Netting - thin and lightweight
Lot thinner than I was expecting. Will not hold itself up, lays on plant or needs supporting posts, etc.I would describe it as bird netting...will it also prevent deer from eating, mostly. For my purpose of year around protection from deer eating my plants, I need a thinker and sturdier netting.

Finally a deer solution!
Every single year for a decade we've had deer and rabbits and who know what else invading our garden as their own personal buffet. The deer were always especially bad. We've tried other methods but short of putting up an expensive and (for our efforts) permanent metal fence, nothing worked. We put this up on a few 8' T-posts with zip ties and ran a row of twine around the top perimeter just for good measure. My husband made a "gate" from pvc and we attached netting to it as well, hung with zip ties. Super easy, lightweight, affordable, and best of all EFFECTIVE! I also love how it's almost see through from almost any distance. A couple of our nosy cats got in one corner and ripped it there but I fixed with more zip ties. It is thinner than the netting we've purchased at Tractor Supply but it's a whole lot cheaper and it works too. We've had no veg loss from deer/rabbits/wild hogs and bonus it now keeps the cats out too.

Perfect for the purpose
It does work!Used to protect berries from birds.Holds well over time. A bit too thin, but for the price hard to beat.
