I do a lot of twisting wire in my line of work thought this might be a useful tool to help save my wrist and finger but this ended up taking longer then just using a journeyman pliers to twist the wire. Also they don’t twist the wire evenly and I have to end up pulling out my pliers to fix it anyways.

This was poorly manufactured. The cutters were jagged and were not sharp. I followed directions and made several practice runs. None were successful. One side would not strip a wire at all. On #14 and #12 solid wires it broke off one of the wires about half of the time. The other times it made the joint but one of the wires was not stripped - worthless. This tool looked promising but it turned out to be absolute junk and I returned it. FYI, when I opened up the package initially the tool was double bagged and double labeled, leading me to think that it might have been returned by someone else, repackaged, and then reshipped to me.

Feels durable but lack of instructions mad it difficult to use. I can only get it to work 20% of the time.

Used it on stranded #12, you do have to strip center wire, worked with hand and low speed drill motor, if your doing alot it save time, romex #12 same thing, cost versus labor I'm happy, comes with card with pictures to help you get started
