Works as stated.
Great product. Does what it stated would do. Currently using it for my air hose on my 80 gallon air compressor.

USELESS.
Shiny polished stainless, but thinnest wall fitting I've ever seen. Worse, the thread specs are nowhere close. The male end screwed into my air compressor tank alright, but was so loose, it didn't stop until there were no more threads. American pipe threads are cut on a taper, which should tightly seat, when approximately 2 to 2-1/2 threads are still showing. A pressure-tight seal is made by the full length of thread engagement. The female end had the same problem, the male threads disappeared and were loose until there were no more threads. Tried several pipe nipples, same result. Torqued them together hoping for the best, but pressurized the tank and the loud hissing leak could be felt walking past it. Didn't need soapy water to find these. No amount of teflon tape or paste can salvage these. My experience: the most expensive foreign fittings aren't as good as the poorest made domestics. I'm an I/E trainer, should've known better. Won't happen again.

Great quality!
This street elbow is manufactured well. The fit and finish is very good. Mates well with other pipe threads.

Last forever but difficult to seal threads without special techniques
Sealing stainless steel threaded fittings can be sealed with different techniques than any other pipe material. Successful seals can be made over 90% of the time using a nickel pipe-seal compound (Rectorseal 23631 Pipe Thread Sealant is on Amazon) along with nickel infused PTFE (Teflon) tape (Gasoila SA26 Nickel PTFE Tape Roll is available on Amazon). These fittings have little to no thread taper by design and require special techniques to produce a leak-free seal at the threads. Normal white Teflon tape is not likely to make a decent seal, even with 12 layers of wrapping on the threads. The heavier blue Teflon tape is better but may not seal 50% of the time using 10-layers of wrap.Stainless Steel Pipes have major differences from brass, iron/steel, copper, PVC, and PEX. These stainless-steel fittings are exceptionally strong, likely to last over 50 years ( probably much longer), and resist corrosion from most compounds such as beer, alcohol, and salt water.Stainless Steel threaded joints can “gall” when those threaded joints are tightened – similar to mini-welds. Galling can make removal difficult to impossible while producing permanent slow leaks. Galling is sufficiently common so stainless-steel threaded-pipe manufacturers tend to reduce to eliminate taper of the threads and complaints from customers.
