Common sense of eating habits
This book is simply amazing. Some of the suggestions which my grandma used to give me are still very practical. This book must be a must read for every indian who have mixed watching TV along with eating. Some of the bad eating practices they have adopted, fad for crash diets and so on and on.This book was a real eye opener and in course of studying this book I realised that with our daily food we I control and reduce my weight. And the icing on the cake is that I do not have to sacrifice any specific food. Though I and only 4 Kg above my normal weight. But with small modification in my diet routine, I have lost almost 2Kg in two months.Amazing book with amazing anecdotes. Must read for everyone.

informative book
Really like the book. I wish I could personally consult with her. ;) super expensive!!! 😜Everything about this book is great , the only thing which might bother non indian people ( if there are any) is some of the slangs/words/phrases/sentences which only an Indian can understand.Otherwise it is a very informative book.P.S. - I know a female personally who took consultation from Rujuta Diwekar and has lost weight by eating right. So I assume her principles/guidelines work.

Good book on Nutrition
it serves the purpose what it is written for.Don't go by the name, it is written first to be fit (or eliminating issues that arise from improper eating) and then to lose the weight and that is why i liked it.I remember very vividly the incident some 10 yrs. back when i was travelling in a train. A co- passenger explained the health as comprising of four parts----Right [ Food, Excercise, Sleep and Positive thoughts].This book answers the first part i.e. food. thanks Rujata, it is so honestly written....and well written too.I did not feel bored at any topic written in this book...

Really great life style explained for everyone.
I started this book 3 days ago and this is my first book which i finished in 3 days. When i started reading the book, i could relate myself to the real life experiences shared in the book. I started feeling good as i was going through the book and the thought of following the principles and the transformation it can bring to my life was making me happy. I loved the book and would like to Thank Rujuta for sharing this knowledge with us, knowledge that can change our lives and give us a healthy and fulfilling life. Thanks a ton!!!

Alright !
The book is written by Rujuta the famous nutritionist. However, I would not recommend reading this book if you come to this place looking to get some weight loss ideas. The book is full of stories and hardly any of it might help you and your weight loss. However, the book is written in a way that you feel Rujuta is talking herself. Good for her fans who just like to listen to her. However I like her other books !

Excellent read
The book connects to you right from page one .. It talks to you and makes you feel that you are normal and that you are not alone in this weight obsessed world ! Very informative and the best part is it gives the guideline how to have a sample meal plan which is not over ambitious and achievable! Love the philosophy that no food is bad ! Must read even if it's to gather knowledge. But am sure one will not just read and forget as it motivates you to start the good habits even as you read the through the page. Highly recommended read

I got a lot out of this book.
I really like this book, though I don't understand the words, phrases, and names of Indian foods, but the principles of healthy eating are solid. Especially her idea that even before you were born, you were absorbing the foods and nutrients that your mother ate. So, stay close to the traditional foods you ate growing up. Just don't step into overeating territory.
