Ordered this for my nieces 11th birthday. She is enthralled with it. She I actually leaving her phone and video games off and working on hair styles instead. She likes to do a style on the head and then have her grandmother do it on her. The head can be repositioned, is sturdy and realistic. She hasn't tried makeup on it yet, having to much fun with hair. The hair is perfect but the mannequin’s skin is rather orange and strange. The look on her face is quite odd in person. If you are only interested on it for the hair, you’ll be satisfied.

I got this because I wanted to learn how to corn row and it definitely does the job for that! the hair is long it’s not the straightest texture but I would have preferred a more kinkier, rough hair texture. it’s basically in a blow dried state and it does shed a lotttt, but it gets the job done. came with all the parts but I never assembled it to the head as I braided in between my legs.

So my daughter wanted this super-weird head to practice braids on because her brother is no help and I have short hair. Seemed like an ok idea and she was happy with the gift and all. Unfortunately, the head has been popping up all over the house in unexpected places. She puts it at the bottom of the stairs, in the fridge, in closets, in cupboards, etc. This is her little attempt to scare good ol dad to death and it has nearly worked on several occasions. Please be ware of the potential hazard presented by this infernal head.
