8th Grade Common Core Math: Daily Practice Workbook | 1000+ Practice Questions and Video Explanations | Argo Brothers (Next Generation Learning Standards Aligned (NGSS)) Paperback – March 31, 2019

I thought I had to pay for video lessons. I was so wrong. I figured it out with their science 8th grade and I love it. Clear explanations without cartoonish characters that distract learning. I’m buying the 8th grade series- MATH, SCIENCE , SOCIAL STUDIES AND LANGUAGE ARTS.Went from zero to 5 stars when I learned to navigate the website properly.

It does not include lessons though. So be prepared to research some if you are not familiar with the concepts.

Using this book for 7th grade homeschool after completing the 7th grade book. I like the Argo math books because they seem to be accurately written (other books have incorrect answer keys & mistakes in equations, it’s true). One thing that can be frustrating is that these books do not provide any instruction (other books have lots of “teaching” ). Argo has a website with videos showing solutions to each lesson. But the website is clunky and filled with ads to buy a subscription to their service.If you are comfortable teaching algebra to your learners, these are great. If you want your learners to work independently consider a different book. We work through the book together and use Khan Academy to learn the math when we are stumped.

My kids (6th, 7th, 8th grade) are doing a little bit of this each day. Instructions are easily understood and they work on it a 15min a day.

We bought this for our daughter who is going into 7th grade. It was great for practice and the videos that come along with it were great for extra explanation.

I’ve reviewed one week and there are multiple questions with no correct answers or incomplete information. I’ve taken a picture of problems 2 and 3 for week 13, day 2. Answer key says the answer is C for problem 2. That is incorrect and there is no correct answer choice. (Angle 3 is also not shown in the drawing.) In problem 3, it asks what is the area of the smaller square. There is no square shown. I’m giving 3 stars now but will lower it if there are more issues.

This book has a lot of great questions to practice over the summer. It really helped my kid and school is much better than last year

Using Summer 5th grade book and 8th grade book for my kids. We like these books and also likes that it comes with teacher explaining online. There are a lot of questions in the book and we enjoy going through the material. The questions are also aligned with the school making it very useful. Recommended to purchase
