Good design- sound proof
Worked well while using the mower. Allowed me to wear my wide brim hat and still listen to podcasts while mowing.

Fit great!
I bought these to wear, with a hat on, while working under a car. I’m a technician and using air tools to work on suspension gets very loud very quick. I didn’t want something that went over my head because I am pretty tall and one of that style kept getting knocked off my head because of how I was trying to maneuver under the vehicle. These work and fit great and prevent my ears from ringing after using air tools for a prolonged period of time. I have a second pair I use at home for weed whacking and mowing the lawn. They stay secure around my hears even on the hottest days.

Worth it
Fit well and block out the sound around you, wish they worked better with a hard hat but still worth the price

Works great under large brim hats
Does not technically have noise cancellation, but noise attenuation is very good.Slim, lower-profile type muffs/cups, don’t knock on stock when shooting rifle/shotgun anywhere near as bad as big cups.Had a similar pair (not low-profile) I wore at work with a bump cap and hard hat as spring band goes behind head instead of resting on top of head.Works well with full-brim hats such as Boonie hat, gardening bonnet, or cowboy hat.Tan color a bit blah, but I have plenty of Frog Tape and spray paint if I feel like getting fashionable or festive. We usually use the cup-style protection with earplugs or earbuds. Also works great with the Axil GhostStryke combo Bluetooth earbud/hearing protection and should work fine with similar in-ear products. Doubling-up allows you to listen to music at a much lower volume than earbud ear pro alone (see below). The reason for double protection is a more broad-spectrum frequency attenuation in addition to additional decibel reduction. Double protection is more useful for lawnmower, weed eater, tractor, industrial blower/grinder equipment - high-noise areas - than intermittent like shooting, hammering, impact wrench, and other hand tool usage.Buy these and start protecting NOW while you’re young. If you’re old like me buy them anyway so you’ll go deaf a later rather than sooner.

Over the shoulder ear muffs
All I'll say is they mute the sound enough that I no longer hate fire alarms

These earmuffs are perfect when wearing hats or helmets, very good protection and fit.

Very Low Profile
These ear muffs work like normal hearing protection. What makes them great is the low profile. I am a transmission specialist for Freightliner and I can use them going over the back of the transmission. They work better than any other ear muff I have worn.

Yard work and warehousing
First: the instructions for installing the over head strap (necessary because sweat will cause the ear cups to slip) are not very clear. The entire ear pad pops off. Reach into the cup and pull the hard rim the pad and they come off. It takes a good squeeze to pop the pads back onto the cups, just get the top of the pad snapped in before pushing the bottom in.These are perfect for lower noise exposures. The behind the head band let’s me wear wide brimmed hats for yard work in the sun. Noise reduction is enough that I become aware of how much sound comes through the vibrations in my arms holding the mower or blower. The frequency response isn’t as effective as earplugs are for me for the type of conveyers in the warehouse, but when my gloves are dirty I don’t want to fumble with foam earplugs.
