Good product

When you have an animal that has chronic allergies and try to find a fish oil product that contains enough omega 3 fatty acids , good luck! As a licensed veterinary technician, it is highly frustrating trying to find a product that has it! And if it's a large dog, makes it that much harder. You have to give a stupid amount of capsules to get the equivalent milligrams needed of Omega 3's. Of course this is not cost effective. That's why Iceland Fish Oil is the bomb! I have my 3 dogs on it and all of them love the taste! All lick their bowls clean; their coats have become super shiny and most importantly,my allergy dog has had the best year of his allergic life since being put on this oil. He did not loose his hair, he did not lick ulcerations into his paws and he looks amazing. First time in 4 years he did not need antibiotics for a skin infection as well. I love Iceland Oils and recommend this to clients now!

Of course it smells like fish! I have a dog that has skin allergies. I tried a less expensive brand, he ended up with new sores. Back to this amazing product and he’s already healing after about a week.

The oil itself seems good but they recently changed the plastic pump for a different one and holy cow does it leak. Fish oil gets everywhere and you end up losing part of the bottle to drips. I thought maybe it was a fluke but the last 3 in a row have been like this.

Dogs coat is amazing now , skin issues are a thing of the past

This review is specifically for the so-called “premier omega” oil, which supposedly can be used in lesser amounts and achieve the same results vs the less expensive oil they sell.I’ve been giving my dog their regular-grade oil over several years. I do believe it helps with his mobility and skin issues so I buy it even though it’s expensive in the volumes I use for him (about 8 pumps per meal; he’s about 90 lbs).I bought the “premier” oil, which is wildly expensive, hoping perhaps I could reduce the amount he needs.1) It has an extremely strong fish smell (and flavor, I’m guessing), and he doesn’t like it and doesn’t want to eat his food.2) The pump is even worse than on the “regular” oil. It seems to get air in it and splurts oil all over the first two pumps I do, every time I use it.3) His joint pain has gotten notably worse during the few weeks I’ve been using it. I’ve been giving him approximately half what I would have with the regular grade oil.Re point 3–I guess the good news is that means the regular oil was doing something useful for him. The bad news is I’m on disability with very limited income and I can’t afford to lay out for another bottle of that right now, because I spent so much on the “premium” one that should have lasted us a couple of months. It is incredibly frustrating that such an expansive product is so inferior.

Lasts a long time, haven't had any issue with either of my dogs. Their coats look great.

This product spilled out easily with the pump top on. I kept having a ring of fish oil wherever I set the can down. It would also spill out from the pump lid, if turned sideways at all. It is very liquid, almost like water. Even though you can pump it out, I removed the pump and put the original lid back on. With that being said, my dog has no issue eating it in his food.
