I bought the anchor version of these towels having returned a disappointing set from Pottery Barn. Are these the plushest beach towels ever? No. Nor are they the thin by any means. I like the size and easy to fold up and fit in a bag compared to some super plush towels I have. As with all towels, wash before use. I saw a lot of comments about the amount of lint generated, but these have been no different than any other beach towels I’ve bought. First wash/dry, yes, there’s a lot of lint but nothing out of the ordinary. I liked so much I bought a second set.

This is not a 2 ply towel. It is large, and seems to be high quality. It says that the absorbing quality will increase over time. I can not attest to this claim, but I shall trust the sale anyway. Even though the product description was inaccurate in stating that the towel has two separate layers. It does however have two different types of surface texture on opposite sides of the towel, as of now, one side is certainly more absorbant than the other. This could become a favorite towel because of it's size; if the general wear and tear use will increase the quality as stated.

Received the two beach towels quickly and measured them....true to specs...34” x 64” I have not washed them yet but they are well made with Egyptian cotton.....lovely and plush enough! And as I said in the title, the colors are vibrant, beautiful. Thanks Amazon.

VERY frustrated with these towels! When they arrived, naturally I put them in the wash. Sooooo glad I put them in there alone. The amount of “fuzzies” that came off of just these two towels was unreal. I put them in the dryer, mind you I vacuum my lint trap after ever use.... just these two towels filled my entire lent trap. I was HOPING that took care of the fuzzies and we could use them as intended. No such luck. My husband is not a complainer, that’s my job lol, but as soon as I got home he made sure to let me know that buying these towels was a hug me mistake. I washed them again hoping that would get rid of any residual lint, again, no such luck. They’re also not very absorbent. My son mentioned maybe they’re the type of towels you sit on at the beach and not dry off with.... is that a thing?Consumer beware- buying these towels will make you wish you hadn’t.

Nice towel! It didn't bleed in the first wash and has stayed soft through a few months of use already. Pettable soft side and fluffy drying side, pretty colors, and a cute design; all in all, it's a nice towel. Glad to find a solid and durable product for a change.

I bought these towels several weeks ago and have washed them maybe 4 times now. One of the towels already lost a hem. They'll last this year and maybe next. I'm going to look for towels that will last a good 10 years, like back in the olden days.

My background is in textiles so I am very discerning when selecting items like towels. These were a great dense but soft weave. Heavy but not too heavy. The colors were also perfect and they washed beautifully.

No thickness or softness. Not worth the $
