When you're buying a salesman's rack from a company called "Simple Retail" that should be a clue that it's going to be a heavy-duty item meant to stand up to abuse. So yeah, it's heavy and probably overkill for travelling around with kid's costumes or storing a few sweaters in your garage for the winter. If you're an actual salesman or retailer this is a great quality rack for the money. It's the old school design where it lays flat until you stand up the ends and pop the hanging bar into the holes. Pull out the extender ends if you need more space. No tools or instructions needed. Takes about 30 seconds from box to salesfloor unless you're not a retailer or salesman and can't figure out a simple design. Great quailty for the money.

This is my second purchase of this rack, and while I was drawn to the black color at first, the sturdiness of these racks is very impressive. I use these professionally as an apparel salesman and they stand up well to frequent use and heavy garment samples. For the price, the value is exceptional. The black finish is nice as well, as some traditional chrome racks can flake over time, leaving sharp edges. Only nice addition would be an optional grate for the bottom so that boxes and crates could be placed on the bottom while rolling the rack.

I do craft and trade shows. This is a sturdy and great quality portable and foldable rack!

I am impressed. This rack is sturdy and simple to put together. It comes nearly all put together! Took about 5 minutes and that included unpacking and walking to the garage for a Phillips head screwdriver to attach the clips (used for folding rack if you will be traveling with it - keeps the rack clipped together in the folded down position). It’s sturdy and height adjustable. The wheels glide smoothly. A great buy for the money!

This is definitely a heavy duty rack, very easy to assemble, and much more than I needed (heavy!) to travel with to my daughters dance competitions with costumes. I did end up returning it as I could not fit it in my car without running it between the captains chairs where the girls were sitting - which doesn't work for 6-7 hour car rides!

Finally a rack that's not going to collapse. I'm very happy with my purchase and will order again if I need another. This rack is perfect for pop up events. It's compact and easy to transport and pop up.

Initially, the side pieces wouldn't line up to meet the top cross bar. After reading other reviews, we learned we really had to pull in the side bars to get it to align. Works great now. I added a fabric wrap (secured with Velcro) to the bottom rails so I can more easily add storage boxes.

i ordered 2 racks. Assembly was easy. Only problem i had was on 1 rack when i put rod across one end didn’t fit all the way in. Some metal burrs were in there and wouldn’t allow to go all the way in. I will try to chisel them out. Otherwise. GREAT RACKS
