Lake Placid Alpine 800 Womens Figure Ice Skates

I bought these for my daughter who wanted to start skating lessons. She is very happy with them. They provide great value and have lovely silver snowflakes on the side which you cant see in the picture.

These skates are amazing and great value. The quality is unbelievable. I had to send them back due to size. They say a size UK8 but they're not like a UK 8 shoes size, more like a size 10. I was very disappointed they were too big. Unfortunately there wasn't another pair in my size.They're also very well padded with lots of support. Compared to higher quality skates, they're an excellent match. I would buy a pair in the right size if I could get them. Had no problems sending them back, and seller refunded straight away with no quibble.

Ive used these boots a total of 5 times and the left one has started to fall apart, the boot has started to pull away from the heel and is unusable

My skates showed up in 4 days, arriving a little bit earlier. As far as I know, I love the skates, but there's something I want to address, I don't know if it's just me or the skates are not as white as the ones in the picture that I've seen. Either way, I love them!

These are the comfiest skates I have had in years, for the price. I don't doubt you can get skates that fit better if you pay $200+, but as a recreational skater I needed functionality and something to keep me on the ice for a couple of hours at a time with my daughter. These are fur-lined, cosy and warm, they seem to have some memory foam in them too and I think when I add gel soles they will be hard to beat. They look good too, but bear in mind that if you have thin feet, these probably won't work for you. I happen to love the width, and the great ankle support is very welcome too.

My skates arrived VERY quickly given that they were an overseas order, so I was very pleased about that! The blades were a bit rusty and even after a good sharpening there were still spots of rust on there. They came with a factory edge but since I like blades that bites the ice, I had them sharpened again. The boots are quite comfortable, with good ankle support, slightly bulky but that's because it's padded. They hurt a bit on the back of my calves but not much more than any other skates. Overall a pretty good pair for recreational skating given the price. You definitely need to size down - i'm usually a US 8 and the size 7 fitted perfectly with a pair of sports socks.

I absolutely love these skates. They are pretty, comfortable, and are all around great. There is memory foam around the ankle, covered by an unbelievably soft interior. The sole is sturdy and comfortable, but the memory foam does not extend to the sole. The one short session I got to use them (tired two year old) was wonderful. They are MUCH more comfortable than the hockey skates that I had rented before. I have picky feet, and it is so nice to have a new pair of skates that I can break in to my own feet than to rent skates and try to make my feet bend to how they're broken in. I usually wear a 9 and I ordered an 8, and they're perfect. With my Smartwool socks they fit perfect and are as comfortable as an ice skate could be.I have used them about 6 times now, and they are the very first boots (including roller blades, ice skates... etc.) that have every actually been comfortable to me. About 5 minutes in my feet ache for about 2 minutes and then they become super comfortable, like a good pair of tennis shoes. I could skate in them forever, and my old hockey skates and roller blades used to leave quarter sized blisters on my poor feet. Not these! I absolutely LOVE THESE SKATES. Plus, they're really pretty. My favorite purchase of this last year.
