mallets are all plastic, not as described!
the mallets I received were all plastic - handle and head. I was hoping for something more durable for my preschool class, but so far (4 weeks) they haven't broken. it's just irritating to get an item that's not as described!

these percussion sticks are plastic, not as described. I could not use plastic, so I returned them. They arrived on time.

These mallets are not as described. No wood on them. All hard plastic and have a terrible sound that hurts your ears.

If you want plastic .....
The whole mallet, including the ball, is plastic. There is no aluminum nor wood in any part of the mallet. It's not sturdy, it is flimsy. As the sound it produces when struck, is not beautiful - not even close.
