I purchased this holster over a very popular and more expensive brand simply because it has an extended side that covers the rear of the firearm and prevents it from chaffing my skin. Many holster companies just churn out the same old tired CCW designs where both sides of the holster are the same. I doubt that some of these companies actually use their own holsters or they would design them to be more comfortable. If you are active, this additional material can be a game changer. If the holster is comfortable for the wearer then they are more likely to have it on. Of course, if you spend your day sitting then this feature may not be important to you.The holster is 100 percent synthetic. There is no suede lining, but there is a soft fleece-like material on the inside. It is well made and the pocket clip is very strong and removable. The edges of the holster are nicely finished and smooth. There are no sharp spots to irritate you. I pulled out the clip and tried this as a front pocket holster, but it is a little bulky compared to my other carry options. It does work fine IWB for my Kel-Tec P32.The only minor thing that I don't like about this holster is the thick rubber tag that they have their logo on. I would have preferred to just have this stamped on the holster somewhere. I'll probably end up cutting it off.Some folks may complain that it is hard to reholster the gun after it is drawn. The objective is to be able to access your firearm when you need it. You can remove the holster and put your firearm back in it at your leisure.I am very satisfied with this holster and would make this purchase again.

My colt .380 fits perfect, and it is the most comfortable holster I have purchased. I went ahead and ordered the clip holster as well. I forget it is on me sometimes that’s how comfortable it feels.

High quality and inexpensive. Houston's soft holsters are best mainly to protect the firearm's finish when stowing in glove box, safe or other. Adequate for IWB, although not really best for a gunfight (but how many of those do you really get into?) or law enforcement, etc. Critics will point out it is tough to re-holster soft IWB holsters like these. Which misses the point that the effective use of an IWB holster is the efficiency of the draw. Once everyone is safe, you can take your time putting the thing away.

Best holster I could find for Colt 1908 vest pocket pistol, a plus is it has a metal clip to holster with; not plastic.

This is my third Houston holster. I have one for each of my carry guns and they are very comfortable, especially the higher back surface. This keeps the slide from rubbing and prevents that uncomfortable cold shock to the belly or side when getting dressed and clipping on an IWB holstered gun. It's a minor annoyance I suppose, but this holster prevents it and I appreciate that.

Use this while working on my Farm .Pistol has never fallen out , like the ones I have had beforeVery comfortable . Pistol seems easy enough to get out if I should need it .Fits snugly and comfortably next to my hip

Be careful not to wear this if you wear leggings or sweats, because it doesn't stay put very well. My gun has a bit of a heavy handle, so I find it to start trying to flip out of my leggings. With jeans, it stays put when I tuck it into my waistband. I wouldn't blame the holster as much as the gun though.
